The Samford club was formed in 1992 by five families
that saw a need for a polocrosse club in the Brisbane area. The
original families included the Lossbergs, Hunts, Sheldons, Haighs
and Goodwins.
The Club continues on the family values installed
by the founding families with current players still representing
the founding members. The Club has a wide range of skills and ages
represented.
The clubs home grounds are Dennis Goodwin Reserve,
Samford Showgrounds. Set in the picturesque Samford Valley a short
drive from the Brisbane CDB, Samford is the home of Polocrosse in
the Greater Brisbane Region, with constantly improving facilities
as the player bases of the club continues to grow.
Currently the clubs player base draws from Boonah
in the South West to the Sunshine Coast in the North as well as
the Brisbane, Pine Rivers, Caboolture and Beaudesert Local Government
areas.
For more details on the club or enquires in relation
